Hi. I'm Christina.
I'm a holistic nutritionist, single mother of 3 darling boys, and a cat lover.
I’ve been passionate about nutrition since I was a teen - always asking questions about food and curious to understand the science behind how it all works.
I majored in Biology at university and did very little my degree spending 9 years as a corporate business consultant on Bay Street in Toronto. Thankfully, my children came into my life to interrupt that career path.
Finding myself with 3 children under the age of 4 didn't leave me a lot of time to think about much except food... mostly what I was feeding them. But during that time, I was having mounting digestive issues and a hard time losing my baby weight.
The scientist in me researched, read and experimented. I tried all types of diets, from calorie counting, to raw foods, and juicing fasts, to going vegan. I uncovered that my fatigue and pain and weight were not just products of incubating and nursing three little humans - I was living with celiac disease.
That discovery kick started my journey to learn even more about how to repair damage and regain my energy and vitality so I could be an adventurous mom, a caring partner, a helpful friend and a generous neighbour. My a-ha moment was the realization that I have important stuff to do, and I need to be operating at full capacity to enjoy it all!
